“The Prancing Horse”, an Italian supercar brand based in Maranello, Italy. Founded by Enzo Ferrari in 1939, producing sports cars for over 70 years and multiple F1 wins under their belt it’s no wonder they have one of the largest followings in the industry behind Porsche!
Enzo Ferrari was a passionate fan of racing and he was convinced that racing encouraged technical innovation which could be used in road cars. Scuderia Ferrari entered the Formula 1 World Championship in 1950, the first year the championship took place. The first drivers title came in 1952 with Alberto Ascari, along with the successes at the Le Mans 24 Hours and at the Mille Miglia, Ferrari became the most successful racing team in the world.
The brand also became iconic with the black prancing horse and classic red colour. In 2014, Ferrari was rated the world’s most powerful brand by Brand Finance.
