The Elevate Team travelled over to Oulton Park with a few clients to catch the finale of the Ferrari Challenge UK as well as take the new Ferrari Roma and Portofino M out for a spin. With a practice session, qualifying and race for both the Ferrari Challenge and the Ferrari Formula Classics, it is safe to say the racing on track kept us thoroughly entertained.

Friday’s race win bought James Swift within 2 points of the Trofeo Pirelli Championship title meaning it was down to the wire for the last race of the series on Saturday. The Coppa Shell Championship title had already been won by Graham de Zille prior to Oulton Park however, second place in the standings was also down to Saturday’s race. The weather on Saturday was typically British - wet and windy - ready to provide us with a drama-filled grand finale of the racing series. The race saw James Swift clinched the Trofeo Pirelli Championship Title after coming from behind and saw Paul Simmerson take 2nd place in the Coppa Shell class by 1 point over Paul Rogers. Great racing all round and what a show the guys put on!

Away from the racing, we were very grateful for the Ferrari hospitality which kept us warm, dry and well fed - as well as offering the opportunity to take the Roma and Portofino M for a test drive. There was also plenty of beautiful prancing horses to admire dotted around the paddock including a line-up of the 288 GTO, F40, F50, Ferrari Enzo and La Ferrari.
