After seeing spy shots for months, the wraps are finally off on Audi's latest RS model. The RS Q8 will use Audi's latest 4.0 bi-turbo V8 engine with a mild hybrid system to recover 12kW of energy during braking. This is the same engine that is going in the 2020 RS6 and RS7. Economy is boosted by shutting half the cylinders down when cruising and a powerful stop-stop system allows coasting for up to 40 seconds with the engine turned off! This will be Audi's most powerful engine in the Q line up. Is their offering enough to tempt clients away from Range Rover's Sport SVR or even those wanting a Lamborghini URUS could make a chunky saving....
